Faktor gaya hidup juga nggak bisa dipungkiri menjadi penyebab fungsi ginjal seseorang akan terganggu. Nah, jika ginjal sudah rusak, bukan nggak mungkin orang tersebut juga akan menderita penyakit jantung, stroke, dan penyakit pembuluh darah perifer.

Nggak tanggung-tanggung, untuk pilihan pengobatan dan terapi yang tersedia, biayanya sangat mahal, yaitu mencapai Rp50 juta sampai Rp150 juta per tahun. Belum lagi, kalau penderita memutuskan untuk menjalani transplantasi ginjal, mereka setidaknya harus menyiapkan uang sebesar Rp250 juta hingga Rp350 juta!
